Blue and White Porcelain-ware 9 x 9 inches
The first Chinese blue and white wares were produced as early as the ninth century in China during the Tang Dynasty. The wares were made using locally won, iron-rich clay in Taiwan and fired in an oxidizing atmosphere at temperatures in the region of 1,300 °C (2,370 °F).
